Today I learned how to use a new tool, it is called "Picnik". Well this is a wonderful tool that allow us to modify pictures and you can add many images or effects, I think that is a creative tool that can be useful for many students.
Then I learned how to use the tools of blackboard, like create a discussion forum, also create a new unit and other important things.
I think that is very important that I learned how to use these tools because as future teachers we will need them in order to create a distance course that could be useful for many students.

Distance Education
Today I learned what is Distance Education, the advantage that it has and the tools that we can use in order to improve our knowledge.
For me, Distance Education is to obtain the knowledge in a different way that in the past. It means that in Distance Education the learners are not dependent from the teacher, in this type of education learners are free to learn in the speed that they want, because they can obtain the information whatever they want and also they have more tools in order to reinforce the knowledge.
The advantages that it has is that the learners don't need to go to the classroom because they learn through the technology.
In the last class we saw many of the tools that we can use for Distance Education like: WEB 2.0, Blackboard and others.
Distance Education help us as future teachers to create a distance course to these students that cannot come to the classroom and we as teachers can design many activities in order to help students to learn through internet.

La Lengua de las Mariposas
The movie that we watched called "La Lengua de las Mariposas" is a very beautiful movie because we saw the different roles that a teacher has to have when he/she is teaching. For example when you are teacher you teach to students more than educative things, you teach things that are related with real context like in the movie when the teacher talked about "GOD" because the little boy asked, so how you can do in this situation because you as teacher have to have a neutral opinion.
I think that teachers are also parents, friends, sources because you can learn many things from your teacher and teachers can learn many things fromn students.
